Elizabeth wrote her first Will in the 5th grade, when she willed her puppy, Licorice, to her friends Karen and Kendal. She liked the assurance that her wish to have her best friends take care of Licorice if she couldn't, would be carried out. Even considering she was young, she realized that a Will could guarantee who would be in control of things important to her. Thus, her interest in estate planning was born.
